The Cliff-Front Residence at Karma Kandara is a spacious five bedroom private villa perched dramatically on limestone cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean, on the Bhukit peninsula in Bali. Built traditionally around a central courtyard and featuring both a central courtyard pool with Jacuzzi and an inspiring infinity-edged pool, the villa combines use of natural and local materials with water features, wood paneling and marble floors to create relaxing spaces. The entry opens across the open plan living spaces to the views. Floor to ceiling glass doors open fully to create an indoor-outdoor living area that flows across the pool, terrace, and al fresco dining and living to the vista beyond. Large sized Indonesian paintings adorn the walls, which stretch to the arched ceiling, and furnishings include the plush, the modern and the antique. Indoor dining is adjacent to a modern SMEG kitchen, and there is also an outdoor barbecue. A home theater system and entertainment room rests next door to a well-equipped home gymnasium.
The first upper floor hosts three of the Grand Cliff-Front Residence’s bedrooms. Each of the bedrooms features a king sized four posted bed, en-suite bathroom with rain shower and tub, flat screen satellite TV, and a fully automated temperature control system. An adjacent study and an ocean view balcony add space to the master bedroom. The second bedroom also features an ocean view balcony, and the third faces to the interior. The final two bedrooms are located in the guest pavilion, flanking a parlor, and facing the interior courtyard pool and Jacuzzi.
The garden spa boasts the steam room, sauna, and cold plunge pool, while the topmost floor of this spacious villa hosts a massage pavilion.
Guests at the Grand Cliff-Front Residence have access to the dining, lounging, and club facilities at Karma Kandara. Wellness experiences are available at the Karma Spa. A spectacular funicular ride places guests on the white sand beach of the reef-protected lagoon at Nammos Beach Club, where there are also dining and lounge facilities.
